1) One-sided leaflet: Otomstim nemetsko-fashistskim merzavzam [i.e. Revenge on Nazi German Scoundrels]. [1940s] 15x21 cm. In very good condition.
Wartime propaganda issued to be dropped from an airplane. Printed in different typefaces, it overviewed Nazi crimes for which Soviet people had to avenge.
2) Pamphlet: Tikhonov, N. O nemetskom sadizme [i.e. About German Sadism]. [Leningrad]: Izd. Glavnogo polit. upravleniia Krasnoi Armii, [1940s]. 4 pp. 22x14 cm. Very good, few minor tears of upper edge.
During the Great Patriotic war, a poet and writer Nikolai Tikhonov (1896-1979) worked in the Political Administration of the Leningrad Front. He created essays, short stories, articles, poems and issued leaflets with well written and influential texts against Nazis. He skillfully wrote about the bloodiness and unimaginable cruelty of the enemy.
In all, both are extremely rare survivals of wartime.
