Georgian cinema is 100 years old and there are many myths about it, as well as about Georgia. These myths are conditioned, on the one hand, by the peculiarities of the country, and on the other hand, by the magic of cinematography. Cinema is a visual art and, like other areas of art, it also needs photography. Photography – not as an advertisement, but as an opportunity to reflect the work on cinema, a way to get into the “magic”. Often such photographs more clearly show the processes taking place in cinematography. This book is an attempt to collect “cinematic photographs” and create another “myth” about Georgian cinema.
