Он собирается поставить автофикшен-спектакль «Артём Томилов» о самом себе. События, которые происходят во время выпуска спектакля, становятся его частью — наравне с мифами и духами из прошлого героя и омичей.

Фильм «Артём Томилов» с иронически-элегической интонацией рассказывает историю современного Одиссея.

Summary:

Artyom Tomilov, a theater director raised in the challenging outskirts of Omsk, returns to his hometown after 15 years to stage an autofictional play titled Artyom Tomilov, a piece centered on his own life. As he works to bring the play to life, the unfolding events intertwine with it, merging myth, memory, and spirits from both his past and the collective past of Omsk’s residents.

The film Artyom Tomilov, with a tone both ironic and elegiac, presents the journey of a modern-day Odysseus.
